In order to ensure a safe working environment in hazardous areas, our emergency safety showers for body, eye, and face are manufactured to comply with the requirements necessity by ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014 and EN 15154-1 standards. They are also available in ATEX certified (EXPROOF) versions for safe use in hazardous environments. The current certificates are available according to these standards for occupational health and safety.
Emergency body showers are required to provide a continuous flow of a minimum 75.7 liters per minute for 15 minutes in accordance with the standards. This requirement is met by connecting it to a water supply network.
The water temperature must be kept constant between 16-38 °C according to the requirements of the standard. If the clean water supplied from the water mains does not meet this temperature range, thermostatic mixing valves can be included in the system to obtain the ideal temperature by mixing the water coming from the hot and cold water sources feeding the water mains.
The used flanges are suitable for wall installation over the door.
